How do I create an account on QuikTix?

To create an account, visit QuikTix.ca and click on the “Sign in” button, then click the “Sign Up” button. Follow the prompts to enter your details and create your account.

How do I create an event?

After logging into your account, navigate to the “Create Event” section. Fill in the necessary details such as event name, date, location, and ticket information, then click “Submit.”

What are the fees for using QuikTix?

The event fees are $0.70 + 0.25% per ticket. These fees are included in the ticket price, meaning they are absorbed by the organizer and there are no hidden fees for attendees. Additional industry-standard payment processing fees may also be incurred by Stripe. The fee is currently 2.9% + C$0.30 per successful charge of domestic cards.

How can I manage and edit my events?

To manage and edit your events, log into your account on QuikTix.ca. Go to the “My Events” section, select the event you want to edit, and make the necessary changes from the “Event Details” area.

Can I sell tickets through QuikTix?

Yes, you can sell tickets through QuikTix. Once you create an event, you will receive a unique event link that you can share with your attendees for purchasing tickets.

How do I find my Event ID and Passcode?

Your Event ID and Passcode can be found in the event overview section on the QuikTix website under “My Events.” See the bottom of the overview, under “Scanner App Credentials”.

How do I check in guests on the day of the event?

Use the QuikTix app to scan tickets or manage the guest list for check-ins. You will need your Event ID and Passcode to access your event in the app.

Can I use the QuikTix app for multiple events?

Yes, you can use the app for multiple events. Enter the specific Event ID and Passcode for each event you are managing.

Who is your payment provider?

Our payment provider is Stripe, ensuring secure and reliable transactions for all ticket sales.

For Event Attendees

How do I purchase tickets for an event?

To purchase tickets, visit the event link provided by the event organizer. Follow the prompts to select your tickets and complete the purchase.

How will I receive my tickets?

After purchasing, your tickets will be sent to the email address you provided during checkout. You can also access your tickets by logging into your account on QuikTix.ca.

Are there any hidden fees when purchasing tickets?

No, there are no hidden fees for attendees. The event fees are already included in the ticket price and absorbed by the event organizer.

What should I do if I haven't received my tickets?

Check your spam or junk folder for the ticket email. If you still cannot find your tickets, please contact support@QuikTix.ca for assistance.

Can I get a refund for my ticket?

Refund policies vary by event. Please check the event details or contact the event organizer for information about refunds.

How do I check in at the event?

Present your ticket (printed or digital) at the event entrance. The event staff will scan your ticket using the QuikTix app to check you in.

What if I lose my ticket?

If you lose your ticket, log into your account on QuikTix.ca to re-download it. You can also contact support@QuikTix.ca for help. If your tickets have your name on them, event staff will also be able to look you up using their ticket scanner app.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

QuikTix doesn't offer ticket transfer functionality yet, however the ticket attachments can be sent to others in PDF form. Specific policies around the ability to present a ticket with a different name at the door depend on the event organizer. Please refer to the event details or contact the organizer for specific instructions.
